Getting junk down steps

Poster #11,
"fasten into bundles" "lower out of a window" "someone else at the bottom to disconnect" - why someone else when you could nip down & disconnect it yourself?
You would save on labor.

I don't know what material you have, or what size and weight the pieces are.

I accumulate stuff in a builders bag. If I had to carry rubble down steps, I would carry two buckets at a time, for balance, and wear flexible shoes with rubber soles.

If it's light scrap wood, I use a polypropylene garden bag. I use a shredder for prunings.

In my case, a builders bag fits in the back of my vehicle, so I put in in empty, then fill it up when going to the tip.

Tie your junk to a priest... the power of Christ compels you!

Hello. Currently living in a stand alone town house, not like it, this house was a rental property so lot of fittings are cheap and ugly, backyard is awful too. Would like to upgrade a better house, but a house with it own land and title are very expensive, in my suburb at least 1.2m for a old house. A better looking house in a good street at least 1.5m. My partner and i are on average income, no way we can afford it. The stamp duty would eat up my saving. If i go for renovation path, would just be a pain as well, my house is double story 4 bedrooms, lot of things need to be done. We are both in early 40, would be hard to get a 30years loan once we hit 45, also want to live in a better quality house to enjoy life, we are not young anymore. Sorry for complaining, is anyone out there are in the same boat like me...
