Neaten this pipework

9/10 I would have moved the radiator centralised to the window. That would mean less visible pipework too.

Who installed the pipework like that, in the first place?

The builder put the rad in originally but there was a leak and that was British Gas, with the compression fittings and busted wall.

The rad is centralised. The centre of the rad is exactly the centre of the window. I wasn't sure what you meant.

On one of your photos it appears as though the radiator is over more one side than the other, but if you look at the next photo not as much of an illusion

Oh ok. It’s bang on centre.

Looked centred to me, when looking at all the pics, in the round.

As such it's a 10/10 for a DIY repair from me, as long as the pipework doesn't subsequently leak of course
