EU calling for respect.

Yeah, you’re right, you told an outright lie because you don’t like Reform. I’m not that keen on Labour but to my knowledge, I've not knowingly told a lie about them.
No, my language wasn't as pin point as everyone else and I corrected it. Don't be a silly sausage.

You lied about if first, remember

Given the choice of a hard Brexit or no Brexit, I’d have chosen the hard Brexit, certainly. All I want to do with the EU is buy and sell stuff to them and take on their workers that we need. I don’t even care about the silly 90/180 rule. Most people don’t either including you.
FOM is a two way street Mottie and benefitted the UK to the tune of billions. Are you saying idle migrants we are having to pay to keep is a good financial trade off?

so you are a brexit voter who wanted higher trade barriers damaging our economy

because youve said so (see above)
As I said, I don’t want trade to be linked to freedom of movement. Why the fùck should it be? We trade with many countries - do you expect to have the right to move to the USA, China, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand etc etc just because we buy and sell to them?

Not if it included freedom of movement.
Brexit stopped freedom of movement.

To me it looks like the immigration issue is worse since Brexit.

So, Brexit wasn't the issue really, but most people knew and know that

As I said, I don’t want trade to be linked to freedom of movement
frictionless trade is part of the 4 movements of the Single Market, you cant pick and choose
you chose to leave and have higher trade barriers

what you are saying is you wanted the cake and eat it brexit that vote leave promised you

- do you expect to have the right to move to the USA, China, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand etc etc just because we buy and sell to them?
The UK has the same access to those countries as it does with the EU, ie trade with lots of non tariff barriers

the benefits of the Single Market is that it lowers WTO trade or bilateral trade agreement non tariff barriers that are a feature of every international import and export down to virtually frictionless trade

The only way to eliminate a hard customs border with all the red tape is by having full alignment on standards.

I’ll ask again. Try to answer without swerving. We trade with many countries - do you expect to have the right to move to the USA, China, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand etc etc just because we buy and sell to them?

Then no, I don’t want the single market.

Brexit stopped freedom of movement.
Good. Job done as far as I’m concerned. If they want to buy from us, fine. If they want to sell to us, also fine. Don’t link sales of goods to automatic freedom of movement. We don't do it with others so why the insistence we do it with them? Perhaps if we were a pìss poor country and nobody wanted to move here and there were many better ones, then I might have a different view. Let’s face it, how many Spanish, French or Italians come here compared to Latvians, Lithuanians, Romanians etc? You don’t hear of Romanian pickpocketing gangs setting up shop in Slovenia, do you?
