It's ok , yes, if they've used a shower mounting kit there's not much they can do about it.

The shower leaked upon testing. Turns out the brackets are not correct as well as the pipes not being in the right angles. So no, the answer in this particular instance is no, it's not ok

Well of course leaks aren't correct.

He was still here. And at the time, I assumed it won't leak as he said it was ok. Hence why I wanted to ask before here before he left

No one on here can tell if something will leak by looking at it

You seemed to be asking if it was ok that some threads were showing first of all.

Yes, I am not a plumber hence why I thought id come here for some friendly advise. To me, it seemed odd that threads would show on that place. I asked the plumber if this is normal and ok, and he said it is. I wasn't convinced so wanted to ask others advice on this whether this is normal before speaking to the plumber again before he moved onto the next stage of work and leaving. Because if things are wrong, it could throw off other bits such as the shower riser and support etc.

I'm not a plumber. However, leaking....? of course not ok
What I'd have thought though is that he hadn't cut the pipe back far enough and so the fitting did not sit far enough back against the wall. Solution, remove bar mixer, shorten tails, refit. Test.
