Just moved in
Tv points around house
Tuned in and nothing
Outside aerial that feeds into a Wolsey distribution box (has no power input)

Any idea why no signal/tv tuning in

Thanks

Maybe the previous occupants didn't use the TV aerial. Many don't now with internet TV.
Try and find the cable that goes to aerial and plug that in TV. Don't use the distribution box. Prove you can get a TV signal

Wolsey box? Model number or picture so we can read the labelling clearly.

Most likely is the previous owners or removal firm have packed and taken the masthead (or remote-powered) amplifier's power supply box. (If I had a £1 for each time...)

Check if any TV's or set-top boxes/PVRs have an "antenna power" option in the tuning menus and if so enable it, then try a tune. {No damage can be done (they have protection cut out circuitry)}

PSUs are cheap enough and only one is needed (powered on all the time). An example is https://www.toolstation.com/proception-f-type-masthead-amplifier-power-supply/p87694

Ok thanks there is no power inputs in loft
Will get pic shortly
The picture or the model number will help enormously. We're guessing without it.

No need for power in loft space (but there are ways to do that if you want/need to) as the power to the loft box can be supplied via one of the coaxial cables in a habitable room with mains power sockets.

The PSU box I provided a link to is one such device, using F-plugs... adapters/ adapter leads are available if required.

You can buy adaptors, which plug into a power socket, and insert in the coax lead.
Err yes. I provided a link to an example.

Here's another that uses (Belling Lee) TV plugs https://www.amazon.co.uk/Antiference-P1200-Masthead-Aerial-Supply-white/dp/B003ESWETU though Belling Lee plugs can be less reliable with DC connectivity unless soldered.
