Same as rip.off vouchers. People think they're doing you a favour buying you them for birthday or Xmas.

No. Being lazy more like

They run out and you lose the money or the place goes into liquidation and you lose the money or there's nothing you really want but you feel you have to spend it, or you only want something for a fiver and the voucher is for 20 so you feel you have to buy something else you don't really want.

Etc etc etc......
 
These are my grandchildren in their uncles cinema room.

Their uncle lives with his girlfriend in a posh pad in Limehouse. Her job: Influencer! You wouldn’t believe the money she earns and gifts she is given including BMW's for a week, cruises, flights, hotel stays etc. Last I heard she was on £8k a month through an agency and other agencies are always trying to tempt her to go with them. Unbelievable amounts. Trouble is though that they spend it like water believing it will go on for ever. It won’t. Nothing ever does.
 
Nothing connecting to a TV areal, I have a couple of Synology boxes which also record the CCTV as my "media centre". Hooked up to a decent Yamaha network amp and some nice KEF speakers. Dipoles at the rear floor standers at the front, couple of up shooters and a pair of subs.

I actually had a Cinema room at my old place, but the ex has turned it into her wasp eating den.
 
I just sacked Sky, tv went off at the weekend, broadband was changed to BRSK 500mb on Tuesday.

Freely is garbage imo, nowt like sky.
We already miss the abiliy to record a show and watch it when we want without adverts.
Cannot record on freely.

Damned adverts :( lol.

I also need to upgrade all my network asits all 100m max.
Got a cat6 cable arrive today so I can put the newrouter where it needs to go, then the various switches will need upgrading to gigabit and last the cables (I'm hoping that they suffice).

I'll be getting a firestick once I can find a decent service supplier for it.
