Hi, does anyone have any idea how to remove the tee connector from this outdoor tap? The middle part of the tee is cracked and I have the replacement for it I just cannot get it off. Getting nowhere with it. Thanks

I guess it is some kind of push fit fitting that needs a special tool.

Hopefully someone will recognise the make.

Marley Equator, you'll be lucky if you can find a 15mm demounting tool. It's obsolete now, probably have to cut the whole tee out and replace it all.

When you say you have a replacement tee, is that a Marley Equator? If so, the supplier might be able to provide a demounting tool. If it isn't a Marley Equator tee then, even if you get the old one off by brute force, you may be left with a pipe in the wall to which you cannot connect the new tee. Can you get to the pipe on the other side of the wall? If you can it might be better to disconnect the pipe there and pull the whole assembly out, then replace with all new.

Also, you don’t need a tee as that could be considered a dead leg. Use an elbow, or change for a wall plate
