Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

So lower paid people need more skills. Do you think the high paid should just take a pay cut via tax, so that the low paid can be subsidised?
That’s a bolox argument, the low paid do not simply need more skills.

1) You haven’t addressed the fact that wealth inequality has increased massively in the last 50 odd years.
In the 1960s and 1970s the low paid were able to live on their wages…..but they can’t now.

2) During the austerity years 2010 to 2020 low paid wages stagnated whilst the top earners massively increased their wealth

3) During pandemic in 2020 and the cost of living crisis after…..the wealthiest massively increased their wealth.

4) U.K. and USA have far higher levels of wealth inequality than most other similar Western economies, such as those in Europe.

5) in 1960 a CEO earned around 20x the lowest paid workers, now that ratio is 200x

You haven’t got any answers to above. None.

So lower paid people need more skills
There are lots of low skilled jobs which are essential jobs.

Your argument is if those people need more money they should increase their skills and do a different job.

But the need for those workers doesn’t disappear, so you haven’t provided a solution….you’ve just created a shortfall in essential work.

The market rates of low paid people are not determined by their skill levels. The market rates of high paid people are not determined by their skill level.

The way it currently works, low paid people are paid less, so the high paid can take more.

When low paid workers are given state benefits, it is the employer who is subsidised, enabling them to pay workers less than a living wage.

When Amazon workers have to **** in a bottle, because they are not allowed time to use a lavatory, or have miscarriages in a washroom, because they are not allowed time for medical appointments, the oppression of the poor is performed to funnel more money to the rich.

Billionaires hate workers rights, and unions that work for them.

Bezos doesn't want wedding presents. What do you give the man who has everything?

A tax bill would be a start.
leftie nonsense.

If you can't fill the low paid jobs because there aren't people wanting them. You have two option: 1 innovate, 2 pay more. You can do a bit of both if you want.

So you admit that there are jobs which are too low paid and businesses get away with it

By the way you haven’t addressed these points:

Yeah. I’m pretty sure my Dentists gets paid more than my dustman.
what does that have to do with this:

“So you admit that there are jobs which are too low paid and businesses get away with it”
