The two Bobs

Of course it would, chanting the death of anyone regardless who they are, military or not would be considered a hate crime today.

AFAIK, I don't think that is true. If I chanted for a person to be killed simply because I didn't like them, that wouldn't make it a hate crime, unless it was based on one of the hate crime characteristics.

Nope - do you need me to walk you through the law  [Joke]

This is what the CPS says:

The law recognises five types of hate crime on the basis of:
  • Race
  • Religion
  • Disability
  • Sexual orientation
  • Transgender identity

Forget hate crime for moment:

Start with sec 4 /4A public order act.

well your hardly going to be chanting death to the British military (Except for the Muslims and any other religion)

We are clearly talking at cross purposes. I don't have much energy today and there's lots to do. So, it's better just to leave it.

Asking for death to an institution is not the same as asking people to attack individuals.
Even MBK with his limited grasp of the law, knows it.

So no crime to answer then?

Not even Sec 4A public order?

Your man Starmer seems to think it was Hate speech and Nandy.
