Rachael's report - "could do better"

Yes, I've forgotten the full list.

Does it cover areas such as health, justice, policing, education, pensions, benefits, defence, transport.
One would have thought that fundamental areas such as these would be under central control in a defined 'superstate

All MB can point out are negotiated issues (deals) that facilitate easier trade within the bloc...

As for the right of control of immigration it exists, but it's up to individual states to apply restrictions or not...

EU Directive 2004/38/EC allows individual states that control...

Unemployed EU citizens could be returned to their own country etc etc...

Why individual states choose to do so or not is another matter...

As for monetary policy, did the UK not set it's own interest rates whilst in the EU?

But some people do like to cling to proven lies ;)

None of this Brexit stuff has got anything much to do with where we go from here, it's off topic.

Question now is whether Rachel's actions are anything more than rearranging the lifeboats on the Titanic, when you know you don't have enough for everyone.

Germany is pushing in the right direction. We're fannying around with WFP.

Rubbish...

Brexit so fundamentally screwed up the UK in a way that the options going forward are extremely limited...

And yet rabid brexiteers are intent on attacking anyone engaged in damage limitation!

We all remember what it was like in the glorious EU.

Nostalgia eh. Now look at us and all the idle boat people flocking here since Brexit. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. 'take control of our borders! ' Dumb brexers.

Brexit - utter pile of shít.

Notch certainly remembers the tomatoes he enjoyed before Brexit. It’s just sour grapes and hard cheese for him nowdays.
Please do not relitigate old arguments because you are smarting because you lost.

When’s yer next Reform party meeting when you wave yer flag :ROFLMAO:

So she is now going to allow banks to relax their mortgage criteria --- sub prime anyone - banking crisis anyone- Gordon Brown anyone

I had the same thought. Repossessions will rise.

Meanwhile unemployment up to a 4 year high and inflation following.

You needn't fret though, as house prices are up 12% on the year, and the wealth gap continues to grow..............(y)
