A lot of people were seriously misled by Joris who lied through his back teeth...

He even misled himself. He knew Brexit would be an unmitigated disaster, even admitted as much beforehand, and was a Euro supporter. He just jumped on the Brexit Bandwagon as he fancied a stint at number 10.

At least Starmer has had a go at trying to patch up a few things, much to the disgust of some.

Are you seriously blaming Starmer's failings on Boris?

*snigger*

Yeah you didn't vote in the same way you aren't a Reform voter.

You fully support brexit and you voted for it.

You are a Venn diagram of stupidity: anti vaxxer, brexit supporter, man made climate change denier, Reform supporter, Trump supporter.

Starmer hasn't got any failings

The economy is the result of Tories salting the earth.

The economy would be better if we hadn't left SM and CU.

brexit was a Conservative project.

David Cameron = referendum
Theresa May = A50
Boris Johnson = hard brexit
Nigel Farage = used to be a Conservative.

Don’t go blaming Labour
You of course ignore the efforts of John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, who all signed treaties turning the EU from a trading cooperative to a superstate. It's unlikely we'd even have had a referendum, had these leaders taken time to consider the impact on the UK of their deals.

How is it a good thing for more people to be unemployed? Avoiding a low figure that it's nowhere near, is not a plus.
It is nowhere near 0,25, it is nowhere near 3, and neither was it before.

People atthe bottom are on minimum wage anyway, so there's no shift there.
Not a good thing if you are one of the unemployed but it isn't a crisis.
Labour say they have big plans to grow the economy and build more houses, if that happens then a lot more workers will be needed.
The Builders confederation have already said that to meet the government target of building more houses, 1000's more trades people will be required, so if there is no pool of indigenous unemployed to fill these vacancies, then the only alternative is to import more foreign labour, which then leads to the a situation where by importing labour to fill existing demand only creates further demand for the services, for which foreign labour was imported to satisfy in the first place.

I blame Blair for the skills shortage 100%

He focused on degrees and nothing else. 1997 is 28 years ago and just imagine if trades had been promoted for all these years

Check my previous posts - go on do a search I have always said I never voted in the referendum. YOU did and you voted to leave.
I accept brexit because that is what the outcome of the vote was. Man made climate change is real. I believe in vaccinations. I have never voted for reform and dont support trump.

The 'superstate' idea is but a false claim of those who harbour anti EU ideologies...

The fact is that all nations in the EU are and have always been sovereign states...

States that can/could opt out of measures they disagree with as the UK did many times...

And after all if the UK was simply part of a 'superstate', how could it have had a referendum to 'leave'?

Did the EU dictate foreign policy to the UK? - No.
Did the EU control UK finances? - No.
Did the EU dictate domestic political affairs? - No.

Problem is too many people were swept up by the anti foreigner rhetoric, claiming that all their problems were nothing to do with home grown policies...

Thus they never bothered to check out the facts and went along with the lies that they found convenient...

Brexiteers are of course still at it, and continue to deny the immense detrimental effect that their vote has had on the UK both economically and socially!
