The food is completely different when the government takes over these hotels. Tureens of serve yourself slop rather than normal hotel food. Look at the two videos. It's not four course meals with table service. And the accommodations in this one sound dreadful. Essentially it hasn't been touched since it was built in the 1980s. It's pretty much the worst hotel in London, according to the rankings.

The government will have to supply Halal food, so it won’t be slop as you call it.

The recent ones all seem to be like this. Have a look at the Epping one. It's just as bad. Run down horrible hotels. That's why Britannia have so many in this scheme. Pete said there was a decent one near him. It's the right wing press who keep calling them four stars. Try and find a few. If you can!

Hotel near us has them in and it was a very posh hotel. Also in centre of Hull The Royal station Hotel houses them and that underwent a huge revamp before they turned it into a migrant hotel.

No pool access, no spa access, no table service, no room service. Essentially, all the services which make it four star are removed. You end up with a run down shell of a building offering basic services and canteen style food. Anyone who thinks they are living in luxury is a fool.
