Suspected blocked feed t on heat only system

Sounds like a good plan ,but I would also drain some water out so it's at a lower level than the Tee, otherwise you will have to contend with water leaking out when opening up the compression Tee.
Was going to just catch it with folding bucket and / wet vax.

Do not really wanna drain out lower incase block although unlikely is elsewhere or don't get block out and has a nightmare for some reason back filling. Just feel more comfortable doing it this way .

So I went today. Cleaned f n e out. Changed gate valve to a new ball vall. Replaced t and wet vax pipes. Water dropping from f n e no problem.

The t was not that much blocked ( picture attached ).

Upon turning hot water/ heating on the feed pipe got hot again but there no block.

What else could it be ?

I checked all radiators with infra red and they are all roasting red apart from one living room one which is blue at bottom so that needs s flush

Has it done this since 3 Port Valve was changed? If its ok on Heating then sounds like problem lies on the HW side, blocked Cylinder coil, or restriction on return from Cylinder?

Yes only since 3 port was changed.. It does appear to be hw problem I think.

If it is blocked coil or restricted on return from cylinder this sounds very problematic. Can chemical clean it ?

When engineer fitted 3 port he told me the heat or hot water never worked. He never got in loft to bung tank so likely dropped the f n e pulling in air. He then backfilled the system from the drain off in picture.

The banging was there prior. Do you think its possible sludge has been pushed out spiro filter and pushed back up return blocking return or cylinder coil ?

Is the feed from the F&E 22mm ? Is there a seperate vent pipe that comes over the top of the F&E ?
Did you check the copper TEE next to the compression T ?
I would add a chemical cleanser to the system.

The feed isc15mm from f .n e. Yes thete a separate 22 mm vent pipe over f n e..

Yes check copper t as much as could. It seems OK .

I'm.going bang some sentinel x400 in. Can this go in and just run on hot water as the heating not on everyday.?

Thanks

The cleanser needs to run around the whole system, for a few days minimally.
Is water coming out the vent pipe ,and into the f&e
When system is running ?

Vent pipe getting hot but no water coming out when there today. It did the other day though. So thinking its a partial blockage maybe ?

There does seem to be a restriction somewhere. Get the cleanser in and see how it goes.
Thanks. Getting chemical in tonorrow. I suspect its on the return in blue on diagram.
