I'm not the cheapest nor do I need to drop my prices or profit margin to get contracts.
It actually proves it does. They see value in reputation, reliability, knowhow. They are willing to pay a little more for the peace of mind that the job will be done well.The fact that folk want to use our services, regardless of price, means your theory does not apply.
Accountants call this Good Will.
