Hi, have a combi boiler, I need to remove a radiator, cut the pipes and keep it like this for a few weeks whilst I’m doing so renovations.

I have a couple of questions;
can I use push fit end stops on the pipe that I’ve cut whilst I do the work.

And

can I isolate the heating so that I can still get hot water from the boiler for a few weeks?

Thanks

Rob

Yes and yes.
Why no use two isolating valves and then you can easily re-connect the radiator and will just need to pressurise the boiler after bleeding.

The radiator is moving and changing size so not sure where the pipes will need to be yet. I thought it easier to just use push fits.
Can I use the boiler for hot water without pressurising the heating system? Is there a way so close the flow and return so the boiler will run?
