Processing asylum claims quickly is definitely the correct thing to do, although it’s never going to be very quick, it’s probably like buying a house.

If they cross the border to claim asylum it’s not a criminal offence, these people aren’t criminals as a result of them doing so. Calling them ‘illegals’ was a phrase made common by the Tories for deliberate inflammatory reasons

Through a friend of a friend of a cousin of a friend, I've been able to get my hands on the criteria government set for claims to be approved.

Asylum Claim Process:

START QUESTIONS
1. Are you seeking asylum? (claimant to answer Y/N)
2. Are you in danger if returned to your homeland? (claimant to answer Y/N)
3. Can you tell me the name of our current King, Charles the third? (claimant to answer 'King Charles the third' or something close)
STOP QUESTIONS
Note to reviewer: If claimant has answered Y to at least one of the first two questions, and mentioned the word 'King' in their answer to number three, asylum MUST be granted.

I thought you were a new poster! But based on the above, you seem to have past experience.

New poster here... apologies if I have missed something but in the Bell Hotel court case, does anybody know if the hotel's owners are to be fined or made to pay court costs?

(As I believe the case made was about a technical breach of planning regulations rather than anything to do with the immigrants themselves).

I have noticed quite a few similar posters since Christmas. They might have only made say fifty or a hundred posts in almost twenty years on the site. They make a couple of random posts on GD then disappear again.
