Angela rayner tax dodger again...

Hopefully she has mortgage protection or she could move the disabled son in and fleece his trust fund for a big rent
She cant do any of that, its a court approved fund that needs court approval to change it.

Depending on how much she trusts her ex, she could claim it back
I wonder is Angela will be able to afford the flat when she goes back to a backbenchers wages.

Motorbiking is obviously a bit smitten so I’m sure he would chip in
I think she will survive. That will be bad for Labour, so I am cool with that.

Her conveyance firm has denied providing tax advice. Effectively calling her a liar. So it’s difficult to see who she is claiming gave her wrong advice.

Seemingly she is meant to be worth around 4 million quid if the papers and online stuff is correct .

Laurie Magnus who's doing the independent report is going on holiday Saturday, his report is expected before he goes away.
They always pump out bad news on a Friday. Let’s hope it’s bad news for two-homes Ange. Mind you, it’ll be bad news for Labour if she stays - I think most labour voters including Notch have woken up about Labour.

If she claimed to have acted on advice and it turns out that’s a lie, she is toast.

No it wouldn’t make any difference…..this is just one news cycle of thousands between now and the election

As we get closer to the election we will see more and more scandals about the horrendous failure of Reform councils.

And good old Nige will start losing his temper as journos actual stop letting him get away with lies

You mean like the leader of the Peterborough council this week ?

It's weird. She sought the advice of a conveyancing expert and two trust experts. Okay I'm looking at this with hindsight, why not also seek the advice of a tax expert?

Given that we're talking about a £70k tax bill vs a £40k tax bill, to ensure absolutely no room for error, and given she's not on the breadline, she should have paid the £70k. Not sure if she'd then be able to claim the £30k back if it was later discovered she'd essentially overpaid?

That would have ensured avoiding this sh1tshow.

I reckon she'll be out. We might even find out today.

Two people can have different perspectives of the same facts. It’s about how she took the advice

It’s also about what she told them to receive that advice. I mean, if I didn’t tell my accountant all of my earnings and he sends the tax return in THAT I HAVE SIGNED SAYING IT IS A TRUTHFUL ACCOUNT, who gets in trouble, me or my accountant?
