Macerator woes!

I never thought about boxing mine in like that!!

That’s better than below the pan
I just hate visible pipes full stop. Even the basin pipes are sunk in the wall and the basin waste goes out the wall, along, and into the macerator out of view. All that is showing is a chrome bottle trap below the wall hung basin.

Took it out and stripped it down today. Yuk - considering it’s hardly ever used for number twos! Don’t think it was poo though? Anyway, Gloves, face mask and face shield on and I gave it a thorough clean out with my pressure washer.

What do you think it is Mottie, defo not Chocolate cake!

Stained limescale - I had to chip at it and use my jet wash on full power to remove it although I do use a proper macerator liquid every 6 months.

So simple to do with a few batons screwed to walls and with a little imagination a couple of shallow doors or shelves can transform a dull room.
I know of people who brought a house and didn`t know that there was a macerator!

We’ve just boxed ours in below the pan. But @Mottie looks far better!!

I’ve a WC to install in the basement. I’ll give that a try.
