Hi, I have just bought Tado thermostat for my combi boiler Greenstar 18/25. I’m not sure about the wiring as I haven’t had a thermostat installed in my heating system before. These are the photos of the boiler:

The link between Ls (Live Supply) and Lr (Live Return) is removed and the thermostat connected in its place.

If you need more help, please provide details of the Tado thermostat that you have. There are different variants, some are wireless that have a receiver that needs a 230V supply. Others are wired and battery operated, so don't need 230V.

Hi, it’s wireless V3+ starter kit. Needs 230V supply. Where on the boilerbthen do I connect COM CH and No CH wires?

Remove the link between the Ls and Lr terminals

Wire Ls to Tado CH Com
Wire Lr to Tado CH NO

Then the receiver needs a mains supply N, L & E from the boiler MAINS SUPPLY terminals to provide it with operating power.

Hi, trying to install myself after moving boiler to another part of the house. I copied the wires exactly as they were, any ideas?

Hijacking threads is frowned upon. Try swapping the blue and brown around either at the boiler end or Tado end - not the L and N.

Tado powers on and connects but nothing to boiler.

This was how it was before so seems the same

So I swapped the little yellow tab round on that tado, swapped wires and the boiler clocked the CH to heat but then not sending it round to radiators. Time to call in the professionals, thank you for help

Before doing that, maybe check the flow and return valves are open underneath the boiler
