Some outlets are suggesting the torture went as far as making her sit in an uncomfortable chair.

Since the detentions, harrowing reports from humanitarian organisations and fellow detainees allege that Thunberg and others endured harsh and degrading treatment. Claims include beatings during interrogation, being forced to sit on hard surfaces for extended periods, and being given limited access to food and water. Several activists reported sleeping in squalid, bedbug-infested cells with poor sanitation.

They deported 137 people who agreed to sign a release form. Others refused to sign a release so deportation has to go though a judicial process which could take to the middle of this week.

Interesting, the other day there was talk of being made to drink from toilets, that new appears to be clarified as drinking from a tap in the toilet. Most importantly, the claims of torture seem to have disappeared.

I don't have a copy of the form. The problem seems to be that if they sign the form agreeing to immediate deportation, it becomes an admission that they entered Israel illegally. Fighting deportation gets them more publicity and more legal eagles involved and greater opportunity to discredit Israel. The flotilla legal teams will be arguing they were illegally detained. None of this really matters, they'll all be deported before the end of the week
