Good old Greta

Do you seriously believe any of that? really?

starved for 3days, they've barely been there 2 days, Greta Thundberg tortured? dragged across a floor and made to kiss the Israeli flag? really?
You post the nonsensical lies from The Times of Israel, and the Jerusalem Times, and you believe what they say.

Many lap up the stupid opinions expressed in the Daily Mail.

Several international activists deported from Israel after joining a Gaza aid flotilla have accused Israeli forces of mistreating climate campaigner Greta Thunberg. Turkish journalist and Gaza Sumud Flotilla participant Ersin Celik told local media outlets he witnessed Israeli forces “torture Greta Thunberg,” describing how she was “dragged on the ground” and “forced to kiss the Israeli flag.”

Malaysian activist Hazwani Helmi and American participant Windfield Beaver gave similar accounts at Istanbul Airport, alleging Thunberg was shoved and paraded with an Israeli flag. “It was a disaster. They treated us like animals,” Helmi said, adding that detainees were denied food, clean water, and medication. Beaver said Thunberg was “treated terribly” and “used as propaganda,” recalling how she was shoved into a room as far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir entered.

Others described severe mistreatment. Turkish TV presenter Ikbal Gurpinar said, “They treated us like dogs. They left us hungry for three days. They didn’t give us water; we had to drink from the toilet … It was a terribly hot day, and we were all roasting.” She said the ordeal gave her “a better understanding of Gaza”. Some outlets are suggesting the torture went as far as making her sit in an uncomfortable chair.

**** me.

Since the detentions, harrowing reports from humanitarian organisations and fellow detainees allege that Thunberg and others endured harsh and degrading treatment. Claims include beatings during interrogation, being forced to sit on hard surfaces for extended periods, and being given limited access to food and water. Several activists reported sleeping in squalid, bedbug-infested cells with poor sanitation.

Tough as old boots is our Greata. Sailed across the Atlantic in a racing vessel. She isn't phased by their torture.

Speaking at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport on his return on Sunday, Italian activist Cesare Tofani said, “We were treated terribly … From the army, we moved on to the police. There was harassment,” ANSA news agency reported. Yassine Lafram, the president of the Union of Islamic Communities in Italy, who landed at Milan Malpensa Airport with the activists, told the Corriere della Sera newspaper: “They even treated us violently, pointing weapons at us, and this is absolutely unacceptable for us in a country that considers itself democratic.” Italian journalist Saverio Tommasi, who landed at Fiumicino Airport late on Saturday, said Israeli soldiers had withheld medicines and treated the detained activists “like monkeys”, The Associated Press reported. Gotta keep the hatred flowing.

I wonder if they've finished pulling out her fingernails.
Probably didn't put vegan mayonnaise in her sandwich either.

Apparently she is heading back to Greece, It would be handy if she stayed away from the Dodecanese, its lovely an peaceful here at the moment.

Believe a group of individual independent reporters? Yes.
Believe state sponsored media? No.

Funny how they sent the politicians on the flotilla home immediateley.

They deported 137 people who agreed to sign a release form. Others refused to sign a release so deportation has to go though a judicial process which could take to the middle of this week.

Do you have the details of this form?

I'm sure there was something in it that they didn't agree too

Interesting, the other day there was talk of being made to drink from toilets, that new appears to be clarified as drinking from a tap in the toilet. Most importantly, the claims of torture seem to have disappeared.

I don't have a copy of the form. The problem seems to be that if they sign the form agreeing to immediate deportation, it becomes an admission that they entered Israel illegally. Fighting deportation gets them more publicity and more legal eagles involved and greater opportunity to discredit Israel. The flotilla legal teams will be arguing they were illegally detained. None of this really matters, they'll all be deported before the end of the week

See. You don't have to swallow your principals.

Some will stand up for what's right
