I watched the first episode of Our Girl on BBC yesterday evening. Well I thought it was the first episode of the first series.
Anyway, I enjoyed it and so I looked up iPlayer for the next episode.
I didn't find it, but what I did find were previous episodes that I now realise was Series 1, (Broadcast in 2014) and yesterday evening's broadcast was episode 1 of series 2.
Well, I thought I'd catch up on series 1 before continuing to watch series 2.
During the first episode was a perfect example of a typical British Chav, (the Father of Molly) blaming immigrants for their own woes, while claiming unwarranted sickness benefit, stealing via his daughter, (Molly), to fund his boozing, etc.
Even in 2014 the script writers perfectly portrayed a typical angry, middle-aged, white man.
Talking of TV dramas, I've only recently finished watching The Handmaids, all 10 series of 'em.

I should have read the book, i could have finished it in a couple of days.

During the series I was always thinking of how the script writers had accurately portrayed how society exploits and corrupts religion for its own perverted ends.
