I picked this panel up locally. It has a transformer, but it's the type that plugs into a ceiling fitting.

I need it on a regular mains plug. What do I need to look for to fit it? I've tried the brand website but they only sell what I already have (for any models). But surely it must be doable!

Is there not a power supply in the box? If not there should be.

Yes. It plugs into a special socket which I don't have, and I want this to be pluggable into the mains.

Also, no box, I got this second hand. Which reminds me actually, the guy had a transformer wired to a plug just for demos for buyers so that might be the easiest option for me.

That's just another type of mains plug, dont be tempted to wire it into the 230 volt mains you definitely need a power supply.

I don't want to wire it directly into the mains, I want a normal plug that I can use with the mains supply!

Ok well you need a power supply then you can feed that with a plug and flex.

Yes. That's what I was asking about. What power supply I need to get.

If I can just switch the plug that's on the transformer it already has for a 3-pin like the seller had, I'll do that.

That's just another type of mains plug,

Which plugs into a type of mains socket he doesn't have.

And the reason he can't replace that type of mains plug with a different type of mains plug which will plug into the type of mains socket he does have is what, exactly?

So the label on the panel lies.

The input for the panel is not 220-240V.

That looks to be a standard Klix plug, I assume there is a flex from that to a power supply unit and thence the thinner flex

Let's see a picture of the whole thing.

Yep.
