My Daughter has a 2009 Astra, the car battery has died and she was never given the Emergency key when she bought the car some years ago. Is there any easy solution to open a door or the Bonnet ??

Dont need a 'emergency key' existing key can be used to unlock driver door.

If you have just been using the fob, there should be a physical key built into the fob. Take that out and use the key to flip off the lock cover on the door. Might be passenger door, might be drivers door.

Physical Key was missing when car was purchased...Hence problem.

Coat hanger wire then, squeezed through, between top of door, and body - try to hook the internal door release. Once open, pull bonnet release.

The issue is the Car Battery has no power to operate the Central Locking system and I cant access any + pos connections to get a feed to the Battery.
Thanks Harry, I am beginning to think the internal door release method is the only option, I have found that nylon parcel binding ribbon very useful for this in the past.
As with a lot of modern cars, you dont need a key to start the engine, the Key Fob just needs to be near the car.

2009 Astra ?

If the car has side airbags be very very careful of forcing anything in the doors. Especially using levers to hold a gap etc.

They are dangerous things

Can you find a way to access the large, starter motor terminal, from underneath? One jumper lead one that, the other on the chassis.

I may try that, I didn't think there was a direct path between the Starter Motor +ve and the Battery ? The other problem may be getting underneath, it is the VRS version, so full body kit, very close to the ground and I am 17 stone !!
