Chest freezer

Hi, can anyone send me a link on amazon or ebay of a pipe to drain water from my chest freezer at the bottom plug? I am struggling to find the product. Its called a hose connect adapter but every time I type it in all sorts come up.

I didn't think there was one? As soon as you undo, water will poor out or do you attach pipe before you defrost?

I just use a cheap wet and dry vac. Suck up water. They start at £35

You attach before u defrost, you attach the pipe and the other end put it in a bucket or something. It shows on youtube etc but I never can seem to find the one they are using

Empty the food out, cover with towels/blankets etc to insulate them, swill some warm water around in the chest, bale it out, finish drying off with a towel, switch back on, put the food back in, job done.

Surely that is not helpful. Have a load of ice that needs deicing. Also its leaking water from the bottom from time time

I defrost our freezers similar to that method. Takes no time at all.

Using tools but not for the purpose they were intended....

It's called a freezer drain hose adapter. I can find them in Europe and America for some makes but not in UK.
