It's very obvious to most normal, non-bigoted posters on here, that the real interest in bringing the attention of the forum to the grooming gangs of Rochdale, etc, for some, is their islamophobia, xenophobia and overt racism.
They'll eagerly grasp any opportunity to point the finger at "them".
The frequency of the threads and posts about such crimes committed by a small section of the UK community, and the scarcity of attention drawn to the crimes committed by indigenous people is evidence of that.
No-one has any hard evidence that grooming occurring more in one culture than in any other because ethnicity data is not collected.
Pointing the finger at sections of the community does not help the victims and does not reduce sexual abuse, it merely diverts the attention to other issues, such as fomenting hatred.
It's all supposition based on bigotry, and an opportunity to blame "them".
Grooming and sexual abuse occurs in all cultures and has done so for millenia. It even occurs within the Royal family.
But frequently their involvement, and with the rich and famous is hidden, or when discovered, it is hushed up and covered up.
Sometimes sexual abuse of minors occurs in the very structures designed to protect minors, e.g. children's homes, schools, etc, even in the medical profession grooming and sexual abuse occurs.
Abuse of young females is part of the misogynistic base of a patriarchal culture.
Teaching, education and examples by adult males is the way to prevent such abuse.
Persistent pointing the finger at "them" presents the worst of examples. It just teaches hatred and division.
