Mandatory ID cards (Brit Card) to be announced tomorrow

apparently the digital IDs in estonia are mandatory for healthcare, banking, voting, online education and public transit. it is estonia that the UK are planning to model, so we can be sure that is where this ID is going, they are saying it out loud.
I'm sure the ID is "safe and effective"

Almost 3M now but it has slowed right down.

Even if they cannot achieve it, or it's totally unapplicable, it would be good if everyone who signed the petition were to write to each relevant department/agency (DVLA, Passport, etc) saying that they withdraw their consent for their data to be used for the digital ID purposes.

You can write to the king and demand a personal sponge bath, it will be just as effective.

What's an authentication app or two factor authentication and where do you get a live face scan ---- you are talking gobbledygook
My point here is - how the heck are they going to get everyone to have this on their phone if you have to go through all this malarkey.

if i had facebook this would be my new profile photo

It's not much more than internet banking. Do you need me to explain that one too?

Please explain how you think by using two factor authentication, whether that is linked to this topic or in general, is malarkey?
