External stop tap on 25mm mdpe

Are 25mm to ,,25mm brass stop taps ok for underground work on mdpe? Don't like the plastic ones. Thanks
 
And with regards to the 25mm plastic sockets for underground are the compression or push fit better?
 
I think the brass fittings must be of the dzr (dezincification resistant) type. Fittings such as couplings (Sockets as you call them) or elbows, doesn’t matter too much whether pushfit of compression if plastic.

Thanks are most brass ones DZR now? Is it water regulations in the UK?
 
Thanks most of the stop taps say conforms to BS1010. So do no the was that state are DZR. Wonder if compiling to BS1010 means it's DZR
