Any chance of a refund from the French?

No.
It's not a UK issue, or a french 1.
It is a German issue - Merkel is to blame for all of it with her stupid irresponsible stance, the EU should of repelled at he borders at the time instead of encouraging them to walk right across the EU- well done Merkel now Germany is a hotspot for radical terror attacks.

..., the EU should of repelled at he borders at the time instead of encouraging them to walk right across the EU- ...
The EU should be repelled at the borders, and not be allowed to walk across the EU?
WTF does that mean?

I see from your reply - you are not even living in the EU let alone UK - sounds like you are in Pakistan or somewhere otherwise you would know full well what I am on about.
I did make one typo though I said he instead of the - I missed the "t"

Perhaps you can explain to me what you mean by
...the EU should of repelled at he borders at the time instead of encouraging them to walk right across the EU- ....
It doesn't make sense to me. Even the grammatical mistake (not the typo), the "should of"
How can the EU encourage asylum seekers to walk right across the EU. And how is that Merkel's fault? Even if your claim " encouraging them to walk right across the EU-" was valid, Merkle couldn't have had that much influence on both the EU and the asylum seekers.
You appear to be suffering from some kind of unjoined-up thinking, where one false assumption leads you on to more and even more weird false assumptions.

If only it was that simple

It's all deliberate and by design. It's not incompetence or an accident.

No gang-smashing is happening, just a continuation of Tony and Boris's project.

Fake up the GDP figures. We'd be officially in recession by now otherwise (despite all actually being better off).

You clearly have a bad memory
chancellor said her government made mistakes in its refugee policy over the past 18 months. More than a million migrants came to Germany last year, five times more than the year before, boosted by the country’s open-door policy for refugees from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other war-torn countries. “For some time, we didn’t have enough control,”

it’s a fact that many people are being swamped by foreigners
The Bieis Johnson government 2019 set up the student visa scheme that saw 1 million + net migration.

Did Mottie, Filly, Harry vote for Boris Johnson?
