everything in the house all sockets are working except for the 3 you shown in kitchen

its late now in UK - so you may want to leave

any frezers ??? - fish tanks or anything else that MUST have power overnight and they are working OK

assuming the labelilng is correct - MOST UNLIKELY given the amount of MCBs

so maybe well off here

then should have tripped -
maybe the RCD has tripped and not showing as off
you have 2 RCDs with a SOCKETS shown on the label

is the shower working
just wonder if the RCD tripped BUT not shown as off on switch - not experienced that - so no idea if possible , but i know other switches can do that

Switch everything off and then back on again, might be a faulty mcb.

Ive just turned off the downstairs sockets at the consumer unit.

There is one socket in the living room that's connected to the upstairs sockets. So I've run a long extension lead to the fridge and it's now being powered by that socket.

So no power to the kitchen or the rest of downstairs sockets.

I'm assuming down power on the downstairs sockets until it's fixed ?

Which is going to be a massive inconvenience

I must have touched the metal inside the toaster, toasting compartment. I got a shock, the kettle on a different wall socket stopped boiling, also the sockets next it stopped working (Fridge)

so which switch was that - as you have sockets written on both sides of CU

and that stopped all the sockets off that where ON - Green in picture

As Pete suggests - Turn every MCB off, and press the blue buttons marked 'test', on both RCD's, then push all of them back up again, to the on position. Keep a torch to hand, when doing that, because the lights will go out.

Boiler. There is a fuze box in there linking the sockets.

Anything after this fuze box doesn't work. So I'm assuming when I got the shock I blew the fuse.

I'll just need to replace it in the morning?

I'd be surprised if it's anything to do with that. The fuse in that SHOULD be for the boiler only. Does the boiler appear to have power?
EDIT. Boilers tend to need a 3 amp fuse, and nothing higher should ever be fitted.
