Oh no. He was the main carer for his wife, Prunella Scales wasn’t he? Seen a few programmes with the pair of them in their boat.

Ah, just under a year after her husband, Timothy West died. Together again.

Her canal boat trips with husband Timothy West, made for a gentle hour of viewing the countryside, along some of the routes we've taken in the past. It was v moving to hear her talk of her dementia and how they coped. A sad loss.

I worked for them both years back. They lived facing Wandsworth Common. A lovely couple.
