If you actually absorbed my post, I am not blaming the Tories. The point I'm making is this decline has been going on for decades and both our main parties have had their part to play. However, most recently, the Tories were in for 14 years, Labour have been in for a fraction of that to date.

The whole socioeconomic construct is fecked and will take decades to put right, if ever.

As for your list of 'solutions', deary deary me.

One thing that has to be said again is thank goodness for UK gun laws...

You only have to look across the pond to image what the death toll might have been.

Agree but i am always surprised how little gun crime there is in the UK.
You only need to take a peek on the dark web there's a plethora of weapons and things you can transact there to be a real menace to society.
The black market for guns due to the Ukraine war etc is also fuelling this.
Drugs Class A's etc are absolutely rife in this country. Yet somehow most villains don't have their hand to a gun.
Switzerland for example allow guns yet how often do you see or hear of any violent incidents there?
Whenever i am in Swiss i feel completely safe, many times i have seen vans pull up, people are arrested and or searched etc, the police presence is strong the police are guarding the public proactively.

i tend to think the problem with the far left is; they hate Britain and everything it has been, they want to see this nation fail, migrants dilute the place and anarchy degrades it, it all fits quite well with their desire to give control to the EU, again that devalues britain as an independent nation thats why they hated Brexit as much! (mind you brexit really was stupid, but we had to stop giving sovereignty away) . Think about it, the left hate the UK, just take notice how they view our nations flag.

It has also been declared to be NOT a terror incident. The victims, during the stabbings, were apparently not at all terrified, nor were the onlookers. Nobody need speculate any more, close the thread.

Imagine having him as your builder -probably the reason why he is out of work and spends so much time on here. He even left a snarky remark to a poster looking for building help for his breakthrough doorway extension - instead of actually helping the chap with advice.
