I did NOT say it was my street that was full of Polish, it was a street near me - the street with the shops - the street with the post office I frequently visited.

Also, it's all just transitional, a transition that never ends. Some (most?) on here may not consider the likes of Abdul to be a typical British name. Fast forward a few decades and the opinion will undoubtedly have changed.

But there's a problem with a small, but vocal group of people on the fringes who are rabidly, in some cases violently, opposed to transitions like that.
