So im planning on installing a Tado Smart Thermostat to our Potterton Performa 24 Eco HE, there is currently no room Thermostat set up. I believe I understand how to wire this i just want to confirm with someone.

So after making sure there is no power to the boiler and getting to the terminal block shown in the image below

I would then take the L cable from the reciever and place it into A1, The N cable into A2, remove the link from A4 and A5 and then route the COM cable into A4 and the NO cable into A5.

So my main concern is do I have the L and N wires from the Thermostat in A1 and A2 or do they belong in B1 and B2

Below ive attached the diagram from the tado instructions and below the diagram from the boilers manual.

If anyone could guide me on this that would be great, thank you.

Yes, all ok. Also correct about piggybacking from the A1 and A2 as you call them

Ah fair enough, that's ideal. Most cables off the shelf would have an earth core which is why I suggested 5 as you're not supposed to use the earth for anything else.

And just want to confirm there's no issues with having two L cables going into A1 and two N cables going into A2
