why do people support Reform when they have no idea of their policies

Why do people support Reform when they have no idea of their policies?
As this is a DIY forum, I'll try to offer an appropriate analogy:
You have three cordless drills in front of you. There's a couple of others from Aldi and Lidl, but you know they're not worth trying.
So, looking at the three in front of you, you know that the first one stops working whenever you REALLY need it, the second gives you a nasty electric shock whenever you pick it up, and the third is brand new and still in its box. You have to give it a go don't you? Might be as good as the old Black and Decker you used back in the 70s!
