I was on a team that has been tasked to take down the flags around my area, we work with a police protection and a private security firm. I left it as there was so much agro involved it wasn't worth it, plus I fully agree with the flags on the lamp posts and see no reason why they should be taken down. Although we still have the team they have actually taken down very few of them due to the protests and local feelings that are provoked whilst doing it. I love my job but I am not paid to face this abuse trying to do it and upsetting people when there is no need.

We have worked around this, we will place the lights higher or we take the flags down for the posts that have christmas decs on. We have had no issues or opposition with anyone over this as the christmas decs take priority.

If the videos are genuine, which always must be questioned, then those people knocking workers off ladders should be punished. You could see it as attempted murder. Don't lose sight of the bigger picture though - which is that all this has been caused by the governments (lab and con) bringing in millions of immigrants against the wishes of the electorate. When voting doesn't work, expect people to try alternative methods.
