Stop being a pratt, the army isn't for the timid or for anyone who wants an easy life,

And yet the idea that that means it's acceptable to submit people to verbal, physical, and sexual abuse and harassment is increasingly rejected by the civil courts, military courts, armed forces heads, and the MoD.

Funny old world, isn't it.

And BTW - it's not possible to be a pratt for showing truths and evidence. Attempting to deny those things, on the other hand....

He was by all accounts,
He may have been an ok firefighter but a lousy manager. So no, not by any account.

Management is a lousy position, often taken up by those that see it as an easy step up, having mocked and sneered at previous managers above them, only to find it's a difficult demanding juggling act, where your neck is always on the block.

Not a common thing to report bullying, it is part of the regime. You will be bullied from day 1 of your training by the training staff, PTI etc who will stand with their face in yours screaming and balling at you a whole range of obscenitys. It is acceptable in the forces which is totally different to any other workplace. They turn out disciplined soldiers and not a bunch of fairy's.

I agree with that statement other than we have no idea that he wasn't a good manager/Supervisor, he didn't see her complaint as anything other than whinging probably. The. whole thing in my opinion was blown out of proportion and should have been dealt with at the station level. She has quite obviously gone out of her way to escalate things further.

Apart from the disciplinary hearing, the employment tribunal and being sacked you mean?

Lol.
He wasn't sacked, he left feeling he had no option. He took it to an employment tribunal but lost as he didn't lose his job but left of his own accord, probably felt let down by his service.

Perhaps HWM can't see this bit in the article? No surprises he only sees the headline and the hook.

Those headlines do love the gullible and those without the patience to read a whole article.

I am entitled to my own opinion and that is the opinion that I have arrived at. The whole situation was created by a girl out for a quick payout and left the service as she didn't care enough to stay in it. This man put 20 years into it and was let down.

Evidence from a news paper, OK
....from which you formed your skewed opinion, ok. (y)

Meanwhile, those that have an attention span greater than a goldfish and can read saw that there was a disciplinary
hearing and a tribunal. You must have skipped that bit when you quickly formed your opinion from the headline, lol.
