That's an easy one the reason there are fewer in December is that they are all good Christians and are having a break for Christmas of course.

Maybe not officially. However if I went to a foreign country and they fed me, put me up in 4* hotel, gave me free medical and dental treatment, free bike, free money, lesson in the local language, etc, etc, etc - I'd feel extremely welcome.

It's like when Trump gives his critical opinion on the state of The UK's free speech, illegal immigration., etc. You get the idea that foreign leaders worry more about our dire predicament than our own 'leaders'.
