This is a big one for Lena as Russians celebrate New Year more than xmas, her xmas is on the 7th of January so we are going back to Newcastle for that.

We was in the centre at the end, where all the trams were. Deansgate was good we walked all over the place, a real lively one was the slug and lettuce, we have one in York which is always good but mainly for food. We had a few drinks and then left.
Do you find the people in Manchester friendly or are you on your toes?
We are going to try Liverpool next week, been before on a few stag do's but not as a night out scenario with our girls. Manchester bars were really pretty impressive the way they were decked out, a lot reminded me of gin bars and trendy type bars.
I love a band over just music, if you like a band you'll love the cavern, if you want a table get in early.
