Demonising a racial or religious group so you feel happy exterminating them, destroying their civilisation and stealing their land, is very much Israel's policy in Palestine and nearby nations. It is a fascist policy.

Quite a few members of the Jewish community criticise it.

I'd be interested to see who you think I have called fascists.

Cumulative effects (Lehman, Brexit, Panedmic, Truss etc), short memories and general misunderstanding that a quick fix doesn’t work for many things. Our predecessors understood this better than us but as we have become more reliant on technology (which isn’t itself a bad thing, we are just not always using it effectively ) we have become less patient.

we are in the tik tok generation.

Everybody is wanting gratification from 30 sec videos.

People are being sold quick fixes for the economy: “cut taxes for the wealthy, that’ll grow the economy” - well it might grow gdp in the short term, but it won’t improve people’s living standards.

If this country wants a strong economy it needs better opportunities for people, better education, better skills, stable affordable homes to live, good public services and infrastructure, low trade barriers, better health service……none of those things are fixable in much less than a decade.

The Guardian piece that you quote was written by one John Harris, a writer I am familiar with because he is a big Dylan fan, as am I.

He comes from a town called Wilmslow, with which I am also familiar! It is a posh place, teeming with millionaires. The shops sell Rolexes, Aston Martins and other such over-priced trinkets for rich folk. The restaurants and cafes are full on weekday lunchtimes. The place is dripping with money and privilege, the people far removed from ordinary life, and so I find it hard to believe that the schools he went to were as bad as he makes out. I might be wrong, but I am not going to belive him without reservations. The Daily Mail gets criticism for exaggerating stories for its right-wing readers, but the left-wing press does the same.

I dont get you or most of the people in this crowd. More so the young fella holding up the Ukrainian & Palestinian flags together.

Iran support Palestinian terrorist racists.
Hamas & Hezbollah as well as Assad

Russia who have invaded Ukraine support
Iran, Hamas & Hezbollah as well as Assad.

Like I say the left dont know whos side they are on.
