Fascists that admire Carl Marx are still fascists....

It is fundamentally opposed to left-wing ideologies such as communism and socialism, as well as to liberalism and democracy...tick

In Hitler's mind, communism was a major enemy of Germany, an enemy he often mentions in Mein Kampf.

Nice try, but your attempt to paint the target around the arrow failed. Standard skewed far right fascism denialism.

Bod is deploying bog standard right wing revisionism. Many of them have tried over the years to claim that fascists, including Hitler and Mussolini, were actually left wing. It is as trite as it is nonsensical:

AI Overview

"are fascists left or right"

Fascism is overwhelmingly considered a
far-right ideology, characterized by extreme nationalism, authoritarianism, militarism, and the subjugation of individual rights to the state, positioning it at the far end of the traditional left-right political spectrum. While its economic policies can vary (sometimes called "third way" or corporatist, opposing pure capitalism and communism), its core tenets—strong leader, national unity, suppression of opposition, and social hierarchy—place it firmly on the right.

Key Characteristics of Fascism:
  • Nationalism & Racism: Intense focus on national unity, often with a belief in racial or ethnic supremacy (like Nazism's racial purity).
  • Authoritarianism:
Dictatorial rule, centralized power, and suppression of dissent
    • Militarism: Glorification of war and military power.
    • Anti-Democracy: Contempt for liberalism, pluralism, and electoral democracy.
    • Corporatism/State Control: Economy serves the nation, often through state-guided private enterprise, not pure free-market capitalism or state ownership (communism).
Why it's Right-Wing:
  • Opposition to Left: Fascism actively opposes communism, socialism, liberalism, and democracy, ideologies typically associated with the left.
  • Hierarchy & Elitism: Fascism embraces natural social hierarchies and rule by elites, contrasting with the left's emphasis on equality.
Common Misconceptions:
  • Economic Confusion: Because fascists used state power to control economies and sometimes appealed to workers, some mistakenly label them "left," but their nationalism and authoritarianism differ fundamentally from socialist goals.
  • "Red-Brown" Alliances: In some post-Soviet contexts, extreme nationalists (brown) and some far-left groups (red) have formed temporary, anti-liberal/anti-capitalist alliances, but this doesn't redefine fascism's core ideology.
In summary, while unique, fascism's core values of nationalism, hierarchy, and authoritarianism firmly anchor it on the far-right of the political spectrum.

And he had to dredge the shameful rubbish from a right wing Ultra-conservative web page.

Im going to take you back to post #76
What I mean is : Spline isn't really your typical neo-fascist.
Mussolini however was a former left wing neo-fascist.

He murdered people. Spline I would guess hasn't murdered anyone. But I wouldn't know. But neither would you!
Are you telling me that Benito Mussolini was not ever left wing?

Look at the word former above. Ive made it larger so as you can all see.

Surely if one goes far right and the other far left, they will meet, was Stalin far left or far right? as everything what MNW67 posted above applies to him and other similar so called communist leaders.

Mussolini was originally a socialist journalist at the Avanti! newspaper. In 1912, he became a member of the National Directorate of the Italian Socialist Party (PSI), but was expelled for advocating military intervention in the First World War. In 1914, Mussolini founded a newspaper, Il Popolo d'Italia, and served in the Royal Italian Army until he was wounded and discharged in 1917. He eventually denounced the PSI, his views pivoting to focus on Italian nationalism, and founded the fascist movement which opposed egalitarianism and class conflict, instead advocating "revolutionary nationalism" transcending class lines. In October 1922, following the March on Rome, he was appointed prime minister by King Victor Emmanuel III. After removing opposition through his secret police and outlawing labour strikes, Mussolini and his followers consolidated power through laws that transformed the nation into a one-party dictatorship. Within five years, he established dictatorial authority by legal and illegal means and aspired to create a totalitarian state. In 1929, he signed the Lateran Treaty to establish Vatican City.
