Beam end over door lintel

Need to somehow build in end of beam which is very near door lintel. Can the beam bear on the end of the lintel?

The door lintel is hollow, so it could be filled. I think it'd be man enough (crushing wise) in any case.

However, that is the least of your worries. Did your SE not specify a rebuild of the masonry? How is the padstone arranged there?
 
I had something similar only the big beam was 90 degrees to yours and the door lintel was replaced with an I beam properly pad stoned.
 
Was thinking I could replace the door lintel with a concrete lintel then build over that assuming it would be better in supporting any load from the big beam

Maybe.

We had a similar situation and I had a conversation with the SE about how we were going to tackle it.



We ended up rebuilding all the bearings under the steels
