The Reform & Tory supporting press seemed to have forgotten to run this story.

You might want to look at the previous months to see why this is not as it seems.
Do explain...

Of course you may have an ideological angle that prevents you from acknowledging a good result when it comes from an administration that you may not agree with ;)

I’m sure you are capable of looking at the data to see that growth has slowed significantly and that the 0.3% growth followed similar shrinkage.

Add to the record unemployment levels. 5.1% now. It’s not good news.

Growth is not necessarily a good thing. In Britain's case it certainly isn't.

High growth with low inflation and good employment rates would be something to cheer.

Not a one month blip as part of a clear slow down.

Just as I thought...

'record unemployment levels' you claim?

Actually the worst for 4 years...

Oh, and your 'get out' is non applicable as the figures exclude pandemic distortions :)

And it was nearly 12% in the early '80's, over 10% in the early '90's

Who was in power during all those periods?

Seems you aren’t capable of understanding the data.
Seems you don't like being called out on your claims of 'record unemployment levels'...

Cue your attempt to defend the indefensible over several exhaustive pages...

Don't bother. We've seen it all before, and it normally ends up not looking good for you ;)

Wait a min for the same figures when in opposition the labour lovies would be shouting that the economy is "flat lining"

You asked a question and you pick holes in the reply. Unemployment is at a 4 year high only because of Covid. Adjust for that and it’s a 10 year high. Not a good statistic
