Ours is due for another one soon.

Washed the car. I think it’s the second wash it’s had from new (Sept 1st). Mrs Mottie thinks it’s the first. Anyway, the car had a ceramic coating on the paintwork from new and the dirt/grime just fell off of it. Didn’t need waxing either. Even if it was its second wash, that’s not bad for a couple of months driving in the sort of weather we’ve had and the muddy car parks we go to when walking with friends - the salesman said the coating stops a lot of the dirt sticking to the paintwork and I must say I agree with that.

The rain washes my car...
Since I was robbed of my 2 precious babies, I go around in scraps spitting dangerous fumes out of everywhere...

That's putting me off buying another PW to wash the car with, unless I can get one with an adjustable spray force.

I got a PW a few years ago and washed our last car with it. All was fine until I washed the tailgate. It stripped paint off the plastic grab.

The other painted plastic bits were fine.
Go figure...

I used it lightly on mine. First time to spray it with snow foam and then to just rinse the snow foam off. I do give it a good blast on the wheels though to remove the brake dust.

It was the first time I'd had the car washed in about two years and it was filthy with moss in the window corners etc so went to one of these roadside car cleaners to get it well blasted, heyho! But I guess the guy didnt give a hoot and I didn't warn him about the notrious Golf front sensors. It couldve been coincidenece I suppose, the radar had thrown up the odd error in the past but only briefly and always righted itself by the time the car was driven again.
