Hot water kitchen - Cold water bathroom

Vaillant combi boiler located in Kitchen. Hot water in Kitchen really hot as normal, however, bathroom taps only run cold. Sometimes a bit of tepid/warm water comes through, otherwise just pure cold. Flow rate in bathroom seems normal. If I turn the bathroom taps barely on with only a very delicate flow, I do get normal really hot water.

Radiators functioning as normal.

Could be a few things dependent on: model of Vaillant, any work carried out recently, feel the flow pipe from cold and feel if it warms up.

Sounds like it’s could be the diverter valve, but best getting a professional in to take a look.

You've shown the diverter is faulty, get that fixed first.

Diverter probably not energising across properly, had this on multiple occasions with the Ecotec pro.

Do you have a mixer tap in bathroom? Cold water could be leaking through.

yes, both bathroom taps are mixers

Could be, but doesn’t explain why the flow pipe would be hot

So I managed a quick shower, turned tap onto weak flow and had decent hotish water. Then everything went cold, had to jump out, fiddled with the tap, hot water came back. Rinsed myself off real fast and dried off.

So - If diverter valve at fault, would the radiators not start warming up when taps run cold. Diverter needs toi divert somewhere, so if the combi is detecting the flow, but no hot water in bathroom... Where has it all gone?

Central heating seems to be working normally.

Not all of them no, just one or 2.
