Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can help.

I am working on installing an underfloor heating in my house.

The setup is with a Vaillant EcoTec937 boiler. I have existing 10 radiators in the house and I am adding an additional zone for underfloor heating. I am using Vaillant VDM15 for the mixing and pump group for the UFH manifold. And I am using a Vaillant low loss header and also VR71 wiring centre together with VRC720 controls and VR92 thrmostat for the installation.

Please see the attached diagram which is the scematic for the installation.

I am struggling to understand where the ZN1-RAD sensor go physically in the system. I understand where it is wired on the VR71 but I do not know where to put it physically at the other end. In the RAD zone I am using a Wilo Yonos Pico pump which is maked as 3f on the scematic.

The ZN2 - UFH one has a special place inside the VDM15 which has a special dry pocket designed for the VR10 sensor.

The LowLossHeader also has a special dry pocket designed for the VR10 sensor.

But the Radiator circuit does not have such dry pocket where the VR10 can be installed. Do I just tape it to the pipe next to the 3f - Wilo Yonos Pico pump?

OK. I found this part number:

Vaillant 8000022938 Dry Pocket

It seems like this is something that might be designed and produced for this exact purpose. I am not able to find a picture of this product nor a video of it anywhere. Is this the correct part to use for my intended purpose? This not at all well documented.

I think I woked it out. I found this as instruction related to the sensor. I think it just gets strapped to the pipe after the Wilo Yonos Pico (3f) pump.

And then I use this as insulation around the pipe where the sensor is installed as they say that this works better if the pipe is insulated.
