Yes, and they pay into the local economy, not take out of it. In some areas of Spain for example, without hoards of Brits moving in, buying property, eating out, spending in local stores, They'd be suffering. Enclaves of Brits abroad cost the host country nothing. You can’t honestly say the same about the foreign enclaves over here and don't get me started on the criminal aspect of such enclaves.

We're thinking about different groups of migrants. I'm thinking about migrants that come here and do contribute, legally. To a large extent, I couldn't give two hoots re how much someone 'integrates', as long as they're law abiding, contributing, pleasant when interacting etc.

As for the groups coming in more recently, see my previous posts about needing much tougher immigrations processes to deal with that situation.

Okay this is just one story, however a few weeks back on the telly box there was a story about two older guys. Came from different countries. Neither could speak a word of the others language. However they had built up a close relationship and communicated with hand gestures etc.

This integration stuff is getting jumped on by various quarters and not always for altruistic reasons.

He's not lying, some of his 'facts' were incorrect but his sentiment and cold hard observations are correct, UK has changed massively, and that doesn't just mean immigraiton over the last few years, its the effect of these migrants and their birth rates, that have realy changed things that are here already, in the last say 10 to 15 years or more, and lets not forget how many are undocumented. Thats a big mystery figure.

Sikhs have always been hard-working and integrate really well.

They don't get on with muslims though. But I don't think muslims actually get on with anyone other than their own, if anyone thinks otherwise then please disagree, I'd like to be wrong. If you upset them then death is the usual answer. Even if one of their own leaves the religion, death to them.
