Chagos Islands, a solution?

I saw a news item today about Chagos and Farages outrage about a small group of chagosians being kicked off one of the islands. I do stand by calling anyone out including Farage this is bs and clear what he's trying to do there, come on Nigel you can do better than lower yourself to the likes of Starmer etc.
Disappointing
 
It’s a fact that the deal compensates the wrong people and doesn’t allow those kicked out to return.

I’m sure you will. How long have you been banging on about it - 20 years now? Be a man. Stick your 'intelligent' neck out and tell us exactly when you think this is going to happen.
 
The only good deal is the one that suits our national interest. That would mean:

A) keep the islands and possibly rent them out for large sums of money, or

B) sell them to the highest bidder for very large sums of money.

Spend the proceeds on tax cuts for workers, filling in potholes, etc.

Of course, because we are governed by fat, traitorous ****s, we get the following:

C) give the asset away to a totally irrelevant country, because some Chinese and other scum on an international kangaroo court told us to... then hand over millions to scum lawyers who are friends of the PM... then pay billions to the irrelevant new owner to lease the asset back.

This situation pretty much sums up all that is wrong with our country.

It is a terrible deal. But it has all been done at the behest of the USA. They will have their reasons and we will never find out what they are. Why do you think Trump is suddenly in favour of it again.

Richard Hermer and Philippe Sands KC were largely behind it. Sands profited to the tune of £8 million. Hermer won't have done badly.
