Reform Policies

Although Starmer plans to send our troops into Ukraine, which would be utterly insane - we'd then be at war against Russia for a place that's of no interest to us.
1. Warning that UK/EU must be ready for war, and be prepared to fight does not equate to plans to be at war.
2. UK is content to bomb weaker countries, such as Yugoslavia, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Mali (and probably others). Were those places of any interest to UK?
But going to war against Russia is another thing. I wonder why that would be.

As I said the interpretation can be wrong sometimes...

But it's better to have a system that gets it wrong sometimes rather than not have a system of equality at all.
When people conflate Equality with Positive Discrimination/Action/Lawful Discrimination it's likely to be wrong.

Although I dont agree with your reaction you do have a point. Almost every single advert features black families, or at best mixed race. It must be a UK thing because there is a couple of adverts that have only white people in them I noticed it because it looked so weird and totally stood out I then noticed that it was a foreign made advert with English dubbing.
Is there any UK advert that features a whole white cast. Yeh yeh yeh adverts need to represent the population but from looking at the adverts anyone would be forgiven to thinking this is a 100% black country.
I would not like to be a white advert actor right now as the only work I would get are ones where the man is being made to look stupid or pathetic like in an advert for a cold remedy.
I wonder if the black community feels used or exploited in some way by these adverts.
You'd better no watch cartoons.

I haven't given it much thought.

But I would like to see so called "positive action" addressed.
Which is used to ensure equality of awareness and opportunity.
You don't think it's fair?

It should not be lawful to promote, filter or otherwise prioritise applications from minority groups in order to increase diversity.
It isn't.
It is lawful to appoint from an underrepresented group when all other things are equal.

It creates resentment and allegations of "he's the token XXX". Everything should be merit based.
It is, but it is lawful to recruit from underrepresented groups when all other things are equal.
It's called Lawful Discrimination.

The thing is though, whilst 'positive action' I can agree gives the perception of positive discrimination, the later is illegal when hiring or promoting.
Lawful discrimination is allowed.
Positivie Action tries to address equality.

100% agree this is the issue you have the 'no we aren't racist honest' v 'no we are not anti white honest..'

(note the irony of my use of groups there how we socially accept anti white isn't assumed racist)
It is lawful to recruit from underrepresented groups when all other things are equal.
I'm sorry if you feel that is wrong.

what do you think the goal of "particularly welcome"means?

Initiatives to increase the numbers of women and people from ethnic minorities in the RAF led to unlawful positive discrimination, an inquiry has found.

Initiatives to increase the numbers of applications from women and people from ethnic minorities in the RAF, i.e Positive Action, is not the same as Positive Discrimination which in its purest form, is unlawful.
But during the recruiting process Lawful Discrimination is lawful, when all other things are equal, to address the underrepresentation of minority groups.
So the RAF intention was not wrong, it was incorrectly applied.

You seem reluctant to accept that the objective is to discourage applicants from outside the target group.
That is your interpretation of the sentence. It isn't the objective of the advert.
Positive Action, i.e. encouraging applicants from underrepresented groups, is lawful.

Reform voters want the white privilege to be restored and extended to all white people, irrespective of their class or merit, but especially to those born into wealth.
White privilege... in the UK LOL. Joker is up at 4.53 am spouting this, buddy add some vals to your prescription 10mg i reckon should see you through half the night.

You object to public servants not reflecting the makeup of the population they serve?
What kind of a world would it be, if all those serving a multi-ethnic community did not represent that community?
Heard of Development creep? This is the same thing.
For the sake of equality for and i would say primarily British absolutely would object (despite you twisting my reply to suit your twisted view why am i even answering this idiot)
What kind of world would it be if i rocked up in Japan or India or Spain ranting the same 'im a minority British citizen and despite my mixed race appearence i want someone identical serving me' (yes i am mixed race before you ask)
Where in our constitution does it say we MUST become a multicultural society? It is promoted by groups but that is it, Why should we change why should any country have to change why can't they just stay as Japanese as British as Indian etc. Your views are dark and twisted.

Heard of Development creep?
How? Please explain how Lawful Discrimination suffers from mission creep?

For the sake of equality for and i would say primarily British absolutely would object
British? White British, or British in genral?

What kind of world would it be if i rocked up in Japan or India or Spain ranting the same 'im a minority British citizen and despite my mixed race appearence i want someone identical serving me' (yes i am mixed race before you ask)
We're talking about people living and working in UK, not some tourist who 'rocks up' somewhere.
And we're not talking about people insisting o being seen by a fellow ex-pat. We're talking about an organisation's employees roughly reflecting the make up of their customers.

Where in our constitution does it say we MUST become a multicultural society?
Who said it MUST? It has or is happening.

It is promoted by groups but that is it,
What is, and which groups?

Why should we change why should any country have to change
Who says we should? Who says any country should?
It has and is happening, because that is the British culture. It's been happening since man first walked the earth.

why can't they just stay as Japanese as British as Indian etc.
Which brings its own unique problems

Your views are dark and twisted.
Because you disagree?

I see the lunatic has responded, back to ignore, you win ok, you are the king of breaking down each sentence into micro analytical time wasting, a complete waste of time, i get it you must be lonely, and be time rich, go indulge in some meaningful engagement somewhere with likeminds.
