Having thought long and hard about this myself, you are better off choosing one or the other, not a combination. Why lug around a petrol engine if you're mostly using battery? Or a battery if you're mostly using ICE?

I havent thought about it long and hard, I have all 3 types and I am saying I love my hybrid much better than all of the others. No thinking required on my part. I am driving them all.

gave you the reason,, the reason is shuffling cars out of the way of the charger because it needs charging so much, planning journeys for charging it up over long distances, it is more of a pain than any of my other cars

We have a ford Kuga diesel at the min. Not a bad car at all.

I’ve looked at an Audi Q4 e tron. Seems a nice bit of kit if you get a spec’d one.
