An expert in all this stuff said when cremation first came in, folk were up in arms about it but it gradually grew in popularity and is now considered the norm along with traditional burial. He suggests this will likely follow a similar path. I tend to agree. Apparently some consider it a less harsh and gentler option than the burny burny method.

Yes it makes sense. Both result in the flesh and fat being broken down and the bones ending up in a crusher.

Since the waste liquid is likely still caustic, perhaps it could be neutralised by combining it with carbonic acid produced by carbon dioxide capture, thus making the whole thing more environmentally friendly.

Sadly the problem we have is the state dictating that you cannot choose how you die when the time comes!

They do it to lobsters and they seem happy enough so it must be ok, I dont get this option as I am probably going to be preserved and laid in state where people can come and view my extraordinary looks.
